These are from last year but I never got around to posting them.  It's the river by our cottage all snowy.  I haven't gotten out there yet this year.  So peaceful looking.

Which are still under way - I am on the installment plan.  :)  These are some random fall river scenes that I have had back logging.  It's has finally snowed in the northwoods so hopefully I will get out and get some new snows shots soon.

July Osprey Nest

This is the Osprey nest this past July.  Sorry I didn't post them sooner but I was back logging.  I think that is both adults that you see in the pictures.  I don't think you can see the babies yet.

Fall River

These are some shot of the river taken in October on a cold misty day.  It wasn't good on my camera but the shots turned out interesting.

Northwoods Marsh

On a guided hike I was told that Marshes don't freeze in the winter and stay warm all year round. A marsh is a type of wetland that is dominated by herbaceous rather than woody plant species.^[1] Marshes can often be found at the edges of lakes and streams, where they form a transition between the aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems.

Canada Goose in the Lillies

The Canada Goose (Branta canadensis) is a wild goose with a black head and neck, white patches on the face, and a brownish-gray body. Native to arctic and temperate regions of North America, it is occasionally found in northern Europe, and has been introduced to other temperate regions.

Beaver Dam

There are been some debate for awhile, that these Beaver Dams can some times cause problems with some lake systems by stopping the nature flow of water making they lakes very weed and not ideal for some fish.

Spring Preview

Already thinking about warmer weather?  Well here are some shots from this past spring that I didn't get around to posting yet.  I do like the winter for snowmobiling and the peaces snow falls but I doo like the warmer weather.
