Osprey Nest

We got these great shots of the Osprey feeding her young out on the lake this weekend.  The 'babies' were pretty big I imagine they don't have too much longer before mom takes them out to fish on their own.

I found this turtle shots that I really like but just had not gotten around to posting.  I hopes you guys enjoy!

At peace amung the trees

My boyfriend and I went for a walk through the woods this weekend - off the beaten path but in an area that he was familiar with.  I don't recommend going any place in the northwoods that you have not been before or you are with some one that has been there.  I know people who haven gotten lost.  And you should always take a compass and a gun.

Also we saw signs of wolves in the area again but we didn't see any - but they may have seen us.

The loon baby is growing!  I just love this picture that I got of the 'mother' and baby.  I say 'mother' because I am not 100% sure that it was the mother.  :)

 

The last time we saw the baby it looked like it was starting to lose it's baby feathers but I didn't get pictures of it.  Also I hope to be setting up a system to sell print for any for any that is interested.  But I have not had time yet with the holiday weekend - happy belated 4th by the way.
