The frogs are out now.  My step son will be so happy to see them he loves catching them or at least trying to any way.

Vintage Sun Set

These are the first of the vintage scans I borrowed from my dad's collection.  He likes to paint and took a lot of scenery pictures that he wanted to paint but never got around to it.  I am not sure exactly when or way they were taken but I know they were in northern Wisconsin.

A look back to warmer weather.  These shots of from this past summer.  I know when the sun sets the bugs tend to get worse but I enjoy the cool night air and being out on the water.

There is something relaxing about the sound of running water.  It very peaceful and beautiful when mixed with the ice and snow.

These shots are from last spring - not that you could really tell a difference since the weather has been so warm in the Northwoods.  But I thought these would be a nice change from the snow that we don't have.

Small Winter River

Last winter we visited the a few location on snowmobile.  This was a very nice and peaceful little river that we came to.  I took a few shots I think there was a waterfall near by but it was so long along I don't remember now.

I love winter! Okay so I love like almost all the seasons but for different reasons, the winter is so peaceful.  These shots were taken along the river by the family cabin.

July Frogs 2012

These were taken in July.  The first 2 shots are bull frogs (i think) and the last 3 are Leopard Frogs.  I really like the green ones, they are fun to shoot but a little harder to find.

Snowy river 2011

These are from last year but I never got around to posting them.  It's the river by our cottage all snowy.  I haven't gotten out there yet this year.  So peaceful looking.

Sorry for the delay in posts but I have been down while I do some computer upgrades. Which are still under way - I am on the installment plan.  :)  These are some random fall river scenes that I have had back logging.  It's has finally snowed in the northwoods so hopefully I will get out and get some new snows shots soon.
