Northwoods lupine

Lupinus, commonly known as lupin or lupine (North America), is a genus of flowering plants in the legume family. The genus comprises about 280 species, with major centers of diversity in South and Western North America , parts of the Southern Hemisphere and the Andes and secondary centers in the Mediterranean region and Africa.

Water Lillies of Summer

A look back at the lovely water lilles - which are all gone now.  A few facts about them, Nymphaeaceae is a family of flowering plants. Members of this family are commonly called water lilies and live in freshwater areas in temperate and tropical climates around the world. The family contains eight genera. There are about 70 species of water lilies around the world.
