I played around with the setting on my camera this weekend.  I was brave enough to finally move away from just using the 'Auto' setting.  I thought the Sepia tone setting was neat.  I probabaly won't use it too much since I have Photoshop and can always convert the color photos to Sepia later. :)

We hooked at this guy to get his attention he wanted to part of us (and we of him) so he was high tailing it away from us when we found him.

On a side note I saw signs of the wolf again this weekend but no wolf.  We must have just missed him.  so bummed.

Not sure what they are really called but since I was a kid we always called them water Lillies, since the grow around the Lillie Pads.  :)  They were in blow last weekend so I thought I would share some shots.

Tragedy for the Osprey

Last week I posted Photos of the Osprey nest that I found but I am afriad I have some bad news.  Due to heavy winds in the area over the weekend the Ospreys have lost their nest. The top of the tree must have snapped off first becuase it was found floating on the other side of the lake.

The good news is that all survived when the tree fell the babies must have swam or flew to shore and both parents were seen watching over them from the trees.  We contacted a local resort and told them, they plan to connact the right people to help at least get the nest re-built for next year and to watch over the babies, where were pretty big (if you look at last weeks post) so they should be fine.
